Flat Feedback Board

Privacy policy

Last updated: 17 October 2026

Flat Feedback Board ("we") is operated by Silvan Jost, Fräschels, Switzerland. Contact: [email protected].

What we collect on the waitlist: your email address, and optionally your product's website and which feedback tool you use today. With each sign-up we store where the visit came from: the referring website's name or a campaign tag in the link (e.g. ?ref=…).

Page views: we keep cookieless, aggregate page-view counts: date, page, and the referring site or campaign tag. We don't log IP addresses or build visitor profiles, and we don't use cookies or third-party trackers. The campaign tag is held in your browser tab's session storage until you close the tab, so a sign-up on a later page can be counted for the right link.

Why: only to send you one email when it opens (nothing else), to see which feedback tools sign-ups use today, and to learn which links bring visitors. We don't sell or share your data.

Where it is stored: Cloudflare (D1 database, Western Europe region). Cloudflare acts as our processor.

When you email us: emails sent to any @flatfeedbackboard.com address are received by Cloudflare Email Routing and stored in a Cloudflare D1 database (Western Europe region), with a copy forwarded to the operator's mailbox. Cloudflare also sends you a one-time automatic acknowledgement; our replies come from the operator's own mailbox. To sort and draft replies, the email's content is processed by Anthropic's Claude (Anthropic PBC, USA); replies written with AI help say so, and you can always ask for a person. Cloudflare and Anthropic act as our processors; transfers to the USA rely on their standard contractual clauses. We keep emails for 12 months after the conversation ends, or less if you ask us to delete them.

How long: until launch plus 12 months, or until you ask us to delete it. Email [email protected] to see or delete your data.

Your rights: under the Swiss FADP (and the GDPR, if you're in the EU/EEA), you can request access, correction or deletion.
